ARTIST PERFORMANCE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
 

Event Organiser: Blinding Talent Ltd
Event Name: The Alternative Escape
Event Date: 15.05.2026
Venue: East St Tap, Brighton and Hove, Brighton BN1 1HQ

1. PERFORMANCE DETAILS
The Band agrees to perform at the above event on the specified date.

2. ARRIVAL TIME
The Band agrees to arrive no later than 20 minutes before their scheduled start time.
Failure to arrive on time may result in:

  • Reduced set time
  • Removal from the line-up

3. PROMOTION OBLIGATIONS

The Band agrees to actively promote the event by:

  • Sharing official event posts on social media
  • Posting at least one original promotional post
  • Tagging the event organiser and venue where possible
  • Encouraging attendance from their audience

4. EQUIPMENT & SETUP
The Band is responsible for bringing their own instruments and essential gear unless otherwise agreed. The Band must set up and clear down quickly to keep the event running on schedule. Any shared equipment must be treated with care.

5. PAYMENT 
As this is a non-ticketed event, performances are unpaid. In return, Blinding Talent  is committed to promoting all participating acts through social media, event marketing, and audience engagement opportunities to help increase each artist’s exposure and reach.

6. CANCELLATION POLICY
The Band must provide at least 14 days notice if they are unable to perform.
Last-minute cancellations may result in exclusion from future events.
The organiser reserves the right to modify the line-up if necessary.

7. CONDUCT
The Band/Artist agrees to:

  • Act professionally at all times
  • Respect venue staff, equipment, and other performers
  • Comply with venue rules and safety regulations

8. MEDIA & RECORDING
The organiser may take photos/videos of the performance and use them for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
