THE CAREER
Mark Adams spent nearly three decades working at the heart of the UK music and media industry. As Director of Music Programming at Channel 4 - following the network's acquisition of The Box's television channels - and across the Bauer Media network, he worked at the senior level of UK broadcasting during the period that shaped how a generation of fans discovered and consumed music.
THE FIRSTS
In 2015, Mark launched the Official YouTube Chart in partnership with YouTube - the first chart of its kind. A year later he launched Spotify's first ever Streaming Chart, helping to establish streaming data as a central metric in the music industry at a time when the shift from physical sales to streaming was still unfolding. These were industry firsts that still stand as landmarks.

Mark is a certified artist manager through the Music Managers Forum - the UK's leading professional body for artist management. The MMF qualification covers the full breadth of artist management practice: contracts, royalties, touring economics, mental health, publishing, sync and long-term career strategy.
Mark is one of a small number of people in the UK to combine senior broadcasting credentials with a formal artist management qualification - bringing together 28 years of industry experience and the professional framework to apply it on behalf of independent artists.
